The Ms. Wheelchair USA pageant crowned Tasha Schuh of Wisconsin as this year’s winner earlier this month. The pageant celebrates the beauty, community service and capabilities of women across the country with disabilities. Schuh, 31, a C5-6 quadriplegic, hopes to empower other disabled women across America with her example and positive attitude as this year’s winner. The pageant has crowned winners for several years, giving often overlooked and undervalued women their moment in the spotlight. The Today in America with Terry Bradshaw show, a cable television program that runs on cable outlets across the United States, congratulates Ms. Schuh on her victory and hopes she can continue to serve as an inspiration to all of us for many years to come.
